Rachel was a 2003 graduate of Chesapeake High School, where she played varsity lacrosse for 4 years and captained both the lacrosse and volleyball team her senior year. Rachel was honored as an Anne Arundel County first team selection by the Maryland Gazette and an Anne Arundel County second team selection by the Washington Post and the Baltimore Sun. Rachel played club lacrosse with CCLax of Annapolis and competed in the All-Star Express and National Draw tournaments.
