Senior Kayla Wynne in November signed a Letter of Intent to play Women's Lacrosse at Coastal Carolina for the 2012-2013 season.

Kayla was named an all-conference attacker as a sophomore and a first team all-conference midfielder as a junior. Additionally, she was tabbed her team's most valuable player in her junior year.

Coastal Carolina University in Conway, South Carolina announced the addition of lacrosse, as their 18th sport program for the school in May 2010. In August 2011, the Chanticleers introduced their first Head Coach for the program, Jaime Sellers. Coach Sellers is a graduate (2008) of William and Mary. She has held the position of Assistant Coach at Stanford University the past three years. Coastal Carolina will join the Big South Conference, which also includes Campbell, Davidson, Liberty, High Point, Presbyterian College & Winthrop.

The WHS lacrosse family wishes to extend our congratulations to Kayla for this opportunity to play lacrosse at the collegiate level. Good luck to her and "The Chants" in their inaugural year.
